1. Fred Thompson. Well, being articulate doesnt really matter so long as you get the job done, same as with speaking ability. Look at Lincoln.
2. Captain Picard :D LOL, locutus will probably like that one.
3. Paris Hilton. She's typically quite honest.
4. For "percieved" persona I would have to go with like a Tom Seleck or Harrison Ford. Tom Hanks perhaps.
5. Nicholas Cage. Too hot not to be President.
6. Morgan Freeman. As a matter of fact, he has played as a President a couple of time and has played it quite well. He fits into every single category you have mentioned above!

The biggest problem with our government, are people being elected on their "perceived personas" the last thing we need in office is a person who is good at making you perceive a different person than they actually are. The people in office now, pull off the job with PR specialists, while being bad at it, no need to improve their chances of misleading people. Stars belong on the stage, preachers belong in the pulpit, and public servants belong in office. unfortunately, that isn't what happens.

23. Not really an actor but someone who puts the needs of their country ahead of themselves someone who tries to do what is right by our nation. I definitely would not want one who voted along party lines(did what pac's wanted)a person who is willing to bring all sides together and let all have an equal say(not going too far to left or right but down the middle as much as possible)a person who would not try to cater to every wish that everyone has but would elimate programs that took a lot and gave back little(in the UK if whatever group wants to operate then they have to raise their own capital)I would like people in the govt that if something in their state doesn't work let it go and find something that does. I would like for people in the govt to be willing to work for the common good and to see the effects that our actions will have 7 generations down the road(this country isn't ours to own we borrow it from our descendants)I would like for less laws to be written and the laws that we have to be enforced more I would like to see our govt not try to cater to every person(political correctness give up things that will benefit our country for the ideal of friendship with other countries unless they had something to offer us just as good in return)I would like to see America stop trying to be the world's police and baby sitters(I mean think about it there is always a problem going on somewhere on the globe with hotspots wherever would it not be better if possible to just live and let live I would like for our govt to stop forming commitiees to look at everything and use some common sense(in the beginning our country did more in 3 months that we do in a year)I would like for people who are able to work in some capitcaty to do so as in not stay on the govt payroll of welfare and such(each person can and should do something for the benefit of their nation-talking about the world around them)they should not feel like anything is beneath their dignity to do as long as it is honest work. I would like for the ones who are over corporations to have their employees in mind and not their pocketbooks(talking about the CEO's pocketbooks) and I really would like that vets would get paid for their service to our country as in if they retired from the military and became disabled at some point to get disability and their pension I mean here they were defending my freedoms not complaining but fighting for me and they have to complete the 9 labors of heracluese to get a small part of what is rightfully theirs(THAT SUCKS)I would like for all leaders to be truly chosen by the people based on their actions not their words and not to take or use a poll about everything(they probably use a poll to find out when is a good time for them to go use the bathroom)I would like for everyone who has a wish list to make it sensible (think about it a million voices speaking at once wanting to be heard over the others)I would like for leaders in all faucets of our society to not play both sides of a given coin(name the coin-situation or wish list)I would like for people to stop feeling like they have to own a lot to feel like they are rich(the sign of a really good leader is his or her abilitly to put the needs of their people ahead of themselves and not to double talk)I would like for leaders to speak only one truth(no man can speak 2 truths and keep them)I would like for people to stop looking at a persons financial situation and look at the heart. Big anwser and I may have missed the question but this is my opinion and if I offended anyone(I usually try and avoid hot button topics like politics but this was a good one)remember this is my opinion. Also want to add I think that religous leaders need to be chosen by same qualities and not their ability to attract a crowd(okay another hot button topic and yes this is my opinion and if you don't like it remember its mine and you can have yours each person should be allowed to speak their truth and wether anyone agrees with it or not remember it is their truth and you have to respect that persons truth not to say that you don't have to agree with it)I would also like to see presidents and senators and other elected officals serve one 6 year term and no more(no career politicans)I would like for the peoples voice to be heard as in that it came from a single thought and want that will truly benefit the common good i would like for the fear mongering and sterotyping to stop and for everyone to really sit down and get to know each other and try hard to really understand each other(hey were one human nation and this world gets a little smaller everyday were here together lets learn about one another and maybe we can learn something new if we simply give each other a chance come on family love someone)
