I am a huge fan of actress Reese Witherspoon & her actor husband Ryan Phillipe. What exactly prompted Reese to officially dedicate her one-and-only academy award to Hollywood hoaxster & comedian Rory Emerald? I've been reading-up on this famous prankster & I am discovering a lot of bizarre stories. Stories that make sense and others that don't! This story about Reese & Rory & Oscar appears to ring true. I thought it was fascinating when I heard about it, but couldn't quite get enough details. Do people in the limelight such as Reese & Rory do strange & controversial things intentionally just to get extra media attention? Or was this particular dedication genuine & from the heart? - I was wondering that myself. Reese & Rory have been friends a very long time. Maybe it's a dedication built on sincere friendship and love(?) I also heard that Rory & Ryan don't get along that well. Hollywood is such a weird place. [interesting question, makes you think!]
